Norfolk Rare Breeds Centre

A small farm set in the Norfolk Countryside, is where we can proudly call home to over 15 different breeds of Rare & Traditional Breeds of Poultry along with Pigs and Cattle and a Turkey or two !

Sadly over the years many of our treasured poultry breeds from yesteryear, have all but disappeared, it is our pleasure to be able to own and rear some of these fabulous breeds.

Most of them have to be kept under such strict bio-security to prevent their getting ill or worse...........

that we can only show you pictures of them,

 or let you see birds we actually have available for sale.

The only pig really has to be the Tamworth, the closest living pig to the natural forest pig of the UK, and apparently un-altered by Man !, made famous by the "Tamworth Two" these pigs are full of charm, you could never regret meeting a Tamworth. These pigs aim to please at every moment, they are attentive and affectionate pigs to their own kind and man kind

These gentle creatures are 100 % British and fully traceable through the herd book to the 1800's

Our herd of THOMIAM Herefords are fantastic, often seen being walked by our two small sons, they are the gentle giants of the cattle world.

Short and stocky their fabulous red coats are a sight to behold.
